Mesa Adventure Challenge Race Results

The forth annual Mesa Adventure Challenge on October 28 was an exciting adventure race that took 16 teams throughout downtown Mesa on quests to explore the city and competing fun challenges. Thanks to all our teams who gave it their all! Stay tuned for the next Mesa Adventure Challenge [Bike Edition!] in April 2018, where new race clues and tasks will keep teams on their toes!

 Movies in the Park Returns!

Mesa’s free family movie series returns Saturday, Sept. 16, at Harmony Park for a screening of Finding Dory. In its 3rd season, the Ride-In-Movies at the Park, hosted by the City of Mesa’s Bike & Pedestrian Program and SRP, provides a fun, family-friendly outdoor event for residents.

Traveling to a different park throughout the City, each monthly movie begins around sunset. Moviegoers are encouraged to walk or bike to the movie, remember your helmets and bike lights! Arrive early for safety messages and activities for the kids.

Adult safety education classes are offered by the Bike & Pedestrian Program! In this 90-minute workshop, adults learn the how-to's of basic road safety, gear and how to navigate Mesa's 578-miles of bike lanes. At the end of class, each participant receives free safety gear including a helmet, bike lock, lights, bells water bottle and more. Pre-registration is required through the library event system:
